The 4D Ultrasound allows exploring the fetus and the organs that form it, with a sense of volume in motion.
This new technology allows analyzing structures and reliefs by incorporating the 4D USG into a great amount of functions, which further allow the physician to perform thorough studies.
The 4D USG displays on the screen the structure data of the future baby in three different planes: frontal view, sagittal view and coronal view. We can also see bone structures clearly.
The study can be performed from the 18th to the 28th week of pregnancy; if it is a twin pregnancy, it is better that it be performed no later than the 24th week.
